Craps online – How to play
Online craps is a board-based game well-known in many casinos, with companies launching the best new casino games every year. It is portrayed in many American Hollywood movies, where a beautiful lady blows the player’s dice to give him luck during his game, and all the players watch carefully the result that the goddess fortune decides; but in reality, the game is a bit more complex than that, because like online bingo, it relies a lot on luck.

You can play craps by simply entering in your favourite online casino and trying your luck, without having to read an entire guide to play; yet if you want to minimize your losses, knowing its rules is a top priority (we recommend checking radcasinos.com articles about this game). At first sight, this game can seem very complicated, especially for those who are new to the online casino scene, so a good move is to practice without spending money by taking advantage of the many welcome and free bonuses that most online casino offer, where players can practise before starting to play.
In the live casino version of this game, players place their bets on the success of the throws that are made, using a pair of 6-sided dice, which at the end of each round are handed over to the next player in a counterclockwise direction; while in the online version both “die” are actually a program that decides the results using a random numbers generator.
How does a game start?
It begins with one player (in technical jargon, it is called the Shooter), who makes the first shot, while the other players sitting at the table bet on the numbers that he will get, before the shot. All types of bets are based on the total that the two dice will roll or on a specific combination of the roll. The first roll of the dice is called “come out” and the bets on it are defined as “pass line” and are winners if the roll is obtained 7 or 11, while it is a loss if the “come out” is a successful 2,3 or 12.
All the other possible numbers that are obtained from the first shot (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) represent the “Point”: if the first thrower makes the Point, he can continue to shoot until he does not get any of those numbers or 7; otherwise, the Point number is totalled before 7, all “Pass Line” bets win.
If Craps is played online, at the moment of starting to play, a pop-up window opens, where the player has to choose the amount of the bet that he has to bring to the gaming table: this amount is then displayed by the player inside the table as the amount of money available and updated at the end of each game hand, while that of the game account is seen in the lobby and modified by updating it only at the end of the game section
Which are the types of bet in Craps?
Pass Line
This bet is made before the first roll of the dice and the player bets on the possibility of the first roll will score a 7 or 11. If this happens, the player doubles its bet. On the other hand, if the dice score a 2,3 or 12 they lose, and if they score 4,5,6,8,9,10, they get the “point”.
Don’t pass line
It is practically the opposite bet to the previous one, users bet on the fact that the first shot will come out with a score of 2,3 or 12. If the dice throw a score that creates a “point” at that time the best is to hope for a 7 to come out as soon as possible.
Come
The come bet is identical to the pass line bet, but unlike in this case, it is made after the first roll of the dice.
Don’t come
In the same way as don’t pass is the opposite of pass line bet, don’t come is the opposite of the come bet: players bet for a score of 2,3 or 12 after the roll of the dice.
